Welcome International Applicants!
Thank you for your interest in Vail Resorts International Program. For many years Vail Resorts has welcomed employees from all around the world. We believe that having workers from a broad range of cultures at our resorts and properties has helped us achieve our mission of Extraordinary Resorts, Exceptional Experiences.
As an international applicant or employee at Vail Resorts there are several things of which to be aware. The petitioning process for international beneficiaries is complex and there are many government agencies involved in the process; State Departments of Labor, Federal Department of Labor, United States Citizenship & Immigration Services and foreign consulates. Ever-changing legislative regulations make it challenging for Vail Resorts as well as other employers to guarantee the outcome of any visa petition to our beneficiaries. Unpredictable economic conditions in the U.S. may require Vail Resorts to re-evaluate our need for international staff from season to season.
H-2B visa applicants:
For the 2009/2010 winter season we are no longer accepting applications from H-2B applicants as our available positions have been filled. Please check back next season.
J-1 visa applicants:
The Work and Travel program gives you an opportunity to spend up to 4 months working for Vail Resorts and traveling in the USA during your summer vacation. We are primarily looking for applicants who are able to work for the entire ski season (November through April). If you need information on how to obtain a J-1 visa, please visit the web-site of one of our J-1 partner companies for more information – www.workuse.com, www.ccusa.com or www.ciee.org.
Please note: Vail Resorts has employed a large number of J-1 walk-ins in past seasons. For the 2009/2010 winter season Vail Resorts will be very selective in the number of J-1 walk-ins that we employ. Do not count on the ability to obtain a job at one of Vail's mountain resortsor properties without working through one of our partner J-1 companies.
