All FULL-TIME employees of Vail Resorts are eligible for great health insurance packages. Eligibility for each is determined by your job status and tenure with the company.
There are two plans you can choose from:
Silver MedSaver Plan
This plan helps pay the cost of a comprehensive array of medical services and treatment including preventative care, doctor's office visits, hospitalization, surgery, and prescriptions. Doctor office visit co-pays for general visits are $20. This plan has no deductible or co-insurance. This plan offers dependent coverage if needed.
Eligibility: All full-time employees
Premium: $ 98/month for employee only; $205.67/month for employee +1; $304.80/month for employee + family
Gold Medical Plan
This plan offers three levels of coverage in one plan. The employee pays less out of pocket when seeking services from providers in the preferred network. The Gold Medical Plan not only offers medical and prescription coverage, but also encompasses a vision and dental plan. The Gold Medical Plan offers family coverage for dependants as well as the employee.
Eligibility: Full-time, seasonal operations employees (750 service hours)
Full-time, year round employees after 30 day waiting period
Premium: $ 117/month (employee only- enrolled in wellness program);$ 137/month (employee only not enrolled in wellness program); $247/month employee +1 (in wellness); $267/month employee +1 (not in wellness); $346 employee + 2 (in wellness); $366 employee +2 (not in wellness); $415 employee +3 or more (in wellness); $435 employee +3 or more (not in wellness program)
